This website has been developed by Technical Team of Headquarters No. 3 Coast Guard District (Karnataka), as a step towards transparency, efficiency and accountability in Coast Guard procurement. It provides access to Last Purchase Price (LPP) details in PDF format. LPP refers to the work orders or supply orders issued by various Coast Guard units across the country. By making these details accessible, the website ensures clarity, promotes standardisation and assists in better decision-making during procurement and contract processing. Importantly, it helps to set benchmark prices, place an economic cap on vendor monopolies and generate significant savings to the Government exchequer.
Headquarters No. 3 Coast Guard District (Karnataka), located at Panambur, New Mangalore, manages this portal. The District HQ is responsible for surveillance, search and rescue (SAR), coastal security and marine environment protection along the Karnataka coastline, while also coordinating with state authorities, ports and fishing communities.
The Indian Coast Guard (ICG), mandated to enforce law at sea and ensure coastal security, continues to safeguard offshore assets, protect fishermen, prevent pollution, assist Customs in anti-smuggling operations and ensure safety of life and property at sea. With nearly 50 ships and 12 aircraft deployed daily, the ICG maintains round-the-clock vigilance over India’s vast maritime domain.
